"About tourism" exhibition: focus on sustainability
Changing travel behaviour has a profound impact on our environment, our social fabric and the climate. How can tourism be organised sustainably despite these major challenges? This central question is the focus of the "Über Tourismus" exhibition, which can be seen in Vienna until September and will be on show in Bad Ischl in the Salzkammergut from autumn 2024.
Alpine Pearls is presented in the exhibition and in the accompanying catalogue in the chapter "More often, further, shorter" as an example of best practice. This award emphasises Alpine Pearls' commitment to sustainable tourism and innovative mobility solutions.
Sustainability in tourism is not a trend, but a necessity. Alpine Pearls shows how environmentally friendly mobility and tourism can be harmonised.
